Company and Factory Introduction
MTSCO provides stainless steel and nickel alloy product solutions for global industrial piping projects, serving industries such as oil and gas, chemicals, marine, and heat exchange equipment. For control line products, MTSCO established its own factory, Siri Tubing, in 2024, specializing in the production of welded coiled tubing, capillary tubing, control line tubing, and multi-core cables, all of which are ISO-certified. Leveraging our in-house manufacturing capabilities, MTSCO ensures more consistent quality control, reliable delivery coordination, and robust project support. We do more than just sell products—we are your trusted supply chain partner.
Factory Advantages
·Ultra-Long Continuous Manufacturing: Siri Tubing provides continuous coiled tubing up to 15,000 meters without butt welds (OD: 3.18-38.1mm, WT: 0.4-2.54mm). This eliminates on-site welding risks and reduces costs for deep-sea umbilicals and downhole cabling.
·Extreme Pressure Resistance: All tubes undergo 100% high-pressure testing before shipment. With a standard test pressure of 40 MPa and a maximum of 100 MPa (far exceeding the 7 MPa standard for seamless pipes), we guarantee absolute safety for extreme high-pressure environments.
·Ready Stock & Customization Services: To meet tight EPC project schedules, we maintain year-round stock of standard grades (304, 316, 2205, 2507, alloy 625, and alloy 825). We also offer customized polymer encapsulation and highly secure packaging solutions, such as iron reels and solid wood spools.
·Trusted by Global Energy Giants: As MTSCO’s manufacturing base, Siri Tubing is a stable supplier for top companies like OXY, KOC, and ADNOC. Driven by our S.I.R.I. philosophy (Safety, Ingenuity, Refinement, Innovation), our products have reliably served the oil & gas, geothermal, and shipbuilding sectors for over a decade.
Manufacturing Process Flow
The core manufacturing process for this welded coiled tubing typically includes strip welding, cold drawing, bright annealing, eddy current testing, and hydrostatic/air pressure testing, followed by precision coiling, marking, and final inspection as per project requirements. For small-diameter control line products, process stability directly impacts weld quality, dimensional consistency, and subsequent installation performance. MTSCO’s in-house facility, Siri Tubing, employs mature processes such as 100% laser welding, cold drawing, bright annealing, and plastic wrapping, making it suitable for the production of continuous-length control lines.
MTSCO Coiled Tubing Final Product Inspection Process
In high-pressure transport applications such as oil and gas, downhole operations, and deep-sea environments, the operational stability of coiled tubing is central to risk management. To this end, MTSCO has established a rigorous final product inspection system to ensure that coiled tubing meets quality standards.
First, the quality team verifies material composition through PMI testing to eliminate the risk of material mix-ups. Second, inspectors conduct rigorous dimensional and visual inspections to ensure the product’s physical specifications fully comply with engineering requirements. Given the continuous-length production process, technicians use Eddy Current Testing (ET) to identify deep-seated defects in the tubing. Subsequently, quality inspectors perform hydrostatic/air tightness tests to verify the product’s pressure integrity under simulated operating conditions. Finally, we test the product in the laboratory to ensure all performance specifications are met.
Hydrostatic and Air Tightness Testing
To verify product reliability under extreme pressure, the production laboratory performs rigorous hydrostatic/air tightness tests on every coil of finished coiled tubing. Test engineers first seal both ends of the tubing and use a high-pressure pump system to inject water or high-purity nitrogen into the tubing, gradually increasing the internal pressure to multiples of the design standard. During the specified pressure stabilization period, high-precision sensors monitor the pressure curve in real time to confirm that the tubing exhibits no deformation or leakage when simulating deep-sea high-pressure or downhole conditions.

FAQ
Q1: Do you have relevant industry project experience?
A1: Our coiled tubing has long served international energy companies such as OXY, KOC, and ADNOC, and has been applied in numerous FPSO, downhole oilfield projects, and geothermal power plants, with proven track records in high-pressure and highly corrosive environments.
Q2: What is the maximum continuous length available for this welded coiled tubing?
A2: Our control line products are available in long-length coils, up to 15,000 meters or 50,000 feet. Continuous lengths help reduce on-site splicing and improve installation efficiency. MTSCO’s in-house manufacturing facilities can accommodate long-length delivery requirements.
Q3: What are the main materials used for MTSCO coils?
A3: We offer a comprehensive range of stainless steel, duplex steel, and nickel alloy coils, including grades 304, 316L, 2205, 2507, Alloy 625, and Alloy 825. All raw materials are sourced from internationally renowned steel mills, and each batch undergoes PMI testing to ensure compliance with international standards such as ASTM and EN.
