316 316Ti Heat Exchanger Straight Tube With Excellent Weldability ASTM A269
Company Profile
Founded in 2006, MTSCO is a manufacturing complex deeply rooted in the global industrial piping market. Our headquarters are located in Jiaxing, near the ports of Shanghai and Ningbo. The company comprises four major product divisions covering piping, oilfield services, wire, and sheet metal, with annual sales nearing $60 million and products exported to over 100 countries and regions. In 2024, MTSCO established its own production base—Siri Tubing—dedicated to the R&D and manufacturing of high-strength stainless steel and nickel alloy welded coils. The factory has obtained ISO certification and holds international accreditations. Currently, MTSCO has partnered with numerous international energy companies, including OXY, KOC, and ADNOC, to provide reliable tubing solutions for global heat exchanger engineering projects.
Manufacturing Process Flow
316 heat exchanger straight tube uses steel coils as raw material. After slitting and bending, the material proceeds directly to automated welding and in-line annealing, enabling continuous and efficient production. Subsequently, the tubes undergo end facing, pickling, non-destructive testing, marking, final inspection, and packaging for storage. MTSCO’s heat exchanger straight tubes undergo 100% full-coverage inspection via in-line eddy current testing, with full process traceability, ensuring that every tube complies with international standards.

Manufacturing Process: Automatic Welding (PAW+GTAW)
Automatic welding is the core process in welded tube fabrication. After the steel strip is formed, the tube seam is welded using a dual-shielded welding method—Plasma Arc Welding (PAW) for the root pass and Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) for the cover pass—to create a weld with strength equivalent to the base material.
MTSCO’s factories are fully equipped with automated welding systems that monitor welding parameters in real time, effectively reducing defects such as slag inclusion, porosity, and lack of fusion.

Quality Control System
·Secondary Inspection of Raw Materials: Raw materials are sourced from major steel mills such as JISCO and TSINGSHAN, with each batch accompanied by an MTC and PMI. Upon arrival at the factory, a secondary verification is conducted to ensure that the material grade and chemical composition meet order specifications.
·Full Process Traceability: Every stage—bending, welding, annealing, and pickling—is documented with process cards and QC photographs, ensuring that the production records for every tube are verifiable and traceable.
·100% Pre-shipment Inspection: The MTSCO quality inspection team conducts comprehensive testing of finished products, including appearance, dimensions, PMI, and eddy current testing. We support third-party inspections by SGS, TÜV, and BV.
Siri Tubing Laboratory
Siri Tubing Laboratory is equipped with professional testing equipment and provides comprehensive laboratory validation support for the production of heat exchanger straight tubes.
Laboratory capabilities include: Radiographic Testing (RT) laboratory, chemical composition analysis laboratory, tensile testing laboratory, hardness testing laboratory, metallographic laboratory, and intergranular corrosion testing laboratory.
The laboratory is equipped with core equipment such as tensile testing machines, impact testing machines, metallographic microscopes, and hardness testers, enabling the execution of various mechanical property tests and non-destructive inspections, including tensile, flanging, flattening, bending, hardness, and radiographic testing. All test reports and specimens are archived and stored in accordance with project requirements to ensure batch traceability and provide customers with reliable quality verification evidence.
FAQ
Q1: How do you ensure product quality fully matches the specifications?
A1: MTSCO implements end-to-end quality tracking from raw materials to finished products. We conduct PMI test and ultrasonic/eddy current non-destructive testing. We welcome customers to designate third-party inspectors such as SGS or TÜV for verification, and we commit to “zero-defect” delivery.
Q2: Can third-party inspections be arranged?
A2: Absolutely. We fully support on-site pre-shipment inspections by authoritative third-party organizations such as SGS, TÜV, and BV. Our QC team will actively cooperate to ensure a smooth inspection process, giving you greater peace of mind upon receipt.
Q3: Can you accommodate custom non-standard dimensions or special materials?
A3: Yes. Outer diameter, wall thickness, length, and surface finish can all be customized according to project drawings, and we support special shapes such as U-tubes. MTSCO’s in-house factory can respond quickly to your needs.
