In large-scale industrial projects, the delivery schedule for piping materials directly impacts on-site construction plans. This is especially true for orders involving multiple materials, special specifications, and strict inspection requirements, where suppliers must coordinate production, quality control, and international logistics.

In August 2026, MTSCO completed the first-phase supply for a phosphate plant project, providing pipes, fittings, and flanges made of 904L, S32750, and 316L materials. Faced with a tight schedule, MTSCO completed the delivery of three containers within 30 days and arranged for over 100 metric tons of materials to be transported by air, making them among the first supplies to arrive at the project site.

Delivery Challenges Posed by Diverse Product Categories and Oversized Dimensions

This project included not only standard pipes, fittings, and flanges but also oversized products that required custom manufacturing based on drawings.

904L, S32750, and 316L belong to super austenitic stainless steel, super duplex stainless steel, and austenitic stainless steel, respectively, and the manufacturing requirements for each material had to be coordinated separately. Some oversized products also had to meet stricter positive tolerance requirements, placing higher demands on raw material procurement, processing, and dimensional control.

At the same time, urgent air freight, third-party inspections, and strict documentation requirements further increased the difficulty of project execution. Ensuring that all product types are manufactured, inspected, and shipped according to schedule has become the key focus of order execution.

How Does MTSCO Handle Urgent Orders?

In response to project requirements, MTSCO established a dedicated execution team to drive progress across three areas: raw materials, production scheduling, and logistics.

Regarding raw materials, the company prioritized the use of in-stock materials to shorten production lead times for standard products; for oversized products, raw materials were procured specifically according to drawing specifications.

In terms of project coordination, MTSCO maintained weekly communication with the EPC contractor to track production, inspection, and delivery milestones and coordinate execution plans for different products.

Regarding logistics, a phased shipping plan was developed based on on-site requirements. Ultimately, three containers were delivered within 30 days, and over 100 metric tons of materials arrived at the site ahead of schedule via air freight, supporting the urgent construction needs.

Strict Inspection Ensures Project Delivery Quality

Beyond delivery speed, product quality was equally critical to this project.

All products in this order underwent 100% non-destructive testing (NDT) prior to shipment and passed third-party inspection (TPI). For oversized products, MTSCO placed particular emphasis on controlling dimensional tolerances to ensure compliance with the project’s technical requirements.

Inspection and documentation were carried out simultaneously, enabling the client to receive the products and related quality documentation as required.

From Product Supply to Collaborative Project Delivery

This phosphate plant project demonstrates MTSCO’s project execution capabilities in multi-category supply, customization of special specifications, and urgent delivery.

For EPC contractors, the procurement of pipes, fittings, and flanges often involves varying manufacturing lead times and inspection requirements. By integrating manufacturing resources, coordinating delivery schedules, and combining quality tracking with logistics arrangements, MTSCO helps clients reduce procurement coordination costs and mitigate project schedule risks.

From standard specifications to oversized custom orders, and from quality inspections to urgent air freight shipments, MTSCO continues to provide reliable supply support for piping system products to projects in the chemical, energy, and other industrial sectors.

If your project involves special materials, multi-category coordination, or urgent delivery requirements, please contact MTSCO to discuss product specifications and supply plans.
