Company Profile
MTSCO is a one-stop supplier of stainless steel and nickel alloy piping systems serving global EPC firms, engineering companies, and end-users. Our product range includes seamless pipes, pipe fittings, flanges, plates, and control lines. In 2024, MTSCO established its own production facility—Siri Tubing—dedicated to the R&D and manufacturing of high-strength stainless steel and nickel alloy welded coils. For heat exchanger straight tubes, MTSCO leverages the factory’s welded tube manufacturing capabilities to provide a complete delivery solution, ranging from raw material control and bending/welding to heat treatment, inspection, and export packaging.
Application Scenarios
Fixed-tube-sheet heat exchangers, shell-and-tube heat exchangers, boilers, and pressure vessels are the primary application scenarios for heat exchanger straight tubes. The media inside the tubes are typically water, steam, oil, or corrosive fluids, requiring the tubing to possess excellent thermal conductivity, pressure resistance, and corrosion resistance. The welded straight tubes produced by MTSCO meet the pressure requirements for high-pressure operating conditions. This product is also suitable for industries such as chemical processing, petroleum, marine, desalination, and geothermal energy. Our heat exchanger straight tubes have been utilized in numerous global engineering projects, including the OTI heat exchanger project, and are trusted by customers worldwide.

Online Eddy Current Testing
Online eddy current testing is a critical inspection step for ensuring the surface and near-surface quality of small-diameter welded pipes. After automatic welding and online annealing, automated eddy current testing equipment performs a 100% full-length scan of the pipe body, enabling real-time detection of defects such as wall thickness anomalies, longitudinal cracks, and pinholes without physical contact with the pipe.
The eddy current testing system features high sensitivity, capable of detecting minute defects. MTSCO’s online ET testing effectively reduces the risk of defective products entering subsequent processing stages, ensuring batch consistency of the final product.
Manufacturing Process: Solution Annealing
Solution annealing is the heat treatment process that determines the final corrosion resistance and microstructure of the heat exchanger tube. Residual stresses generated during the welding process are eliminated through solution annealing, allowing the material to regain its ductility and corrosion resistance. Our heat exchanger straight tubes undergo continuous solution annealing via an in-line annealing process, ensuring higher efficiency and uniform temperature distribution. Currently, MTSCO’s solution-annealed heat exchanger straight tubes have been delivered in bulk to multiple international heat exchanger projects.
Siri Tubing Laboratory
Siri Tubing Laboratory is equipped with professional testing equipment and provides comprehensive laboratory validation support for the production of heat exchanger straight tubes.
Laboratory capabilities include: Radiographic Testing (RT) laboratory, chemical composition analysis laboratory, tensile testing laboratory, hardness testing laboratory, metallographic laboratory, and intergranular corrosion testing laboratory.
The laboratory is equipped with core equipment such as tensile testing machines, impact testing machines, metallographic microscopes, and hardness testers, enabling the execution of various mechanical property tests and non-destructive inspections, including tensile, flanging, flattening, bending, hardness, and radiographic testing. All test reports and specimens are archived and stored in accordance with project requirements to ensure batch traceability and provide customers with reliable quality verification evidence.
FAQ
Q1: What are the common materials for heat exchanger straight tubes? How should they be selected?
A1: Common materials include 304L, 316L, and duplex stainless steel 2205/2507. Due to the addition of molybdenum, 316L offers superior resistance to chloride corrosion compared to 304L, making it more suitable for seawater or saline environments; Duplex steel 2507 offers higher strength under high-temperature conditions. MTSCO can provide material selection recommendations based on the customer’s project medium, temperature, and pressure parameters.
Q2: Do you accept small-batch or custom orders?
A2: Absolutely. Through our exclusive partnership with our subsidiary factory, MTSCO can quickly respond to your customization needs. Whether it involves non-standard dimensions, special chemical compositions, or specific mechanical property requirements, we can efficiently fulfill your needs.
Q3: Can third-party inspections be arranged?
A3: Absolutely. We fully support on-site pre-shipment inspections by authoritative third-party organizations such as SGS, TÜV, and BV. Our QC team will actively cooperate to ensure a smooth inspection process, giving you greater peace of mind upon receipt.
