Alloy 825 Welded Capillary Tube Wooden Reel Packing for Oil and Gas
Company and Factory Introduction
As a leading supplier of industrial stainless steel piping systems, MTSCO has established a strong presence in global engineering and EPC projects through its “Factory Complexes” model. In 2024, MTSCO officially established its own production facility—Siri Tubing—dedicated to the manufacturing of high-strength stainless steel and nickel alloy welded coiled tubing. Siri Tubing’s core technological advantage lies in its exceptional performance limits: the company produces welded coils with a single-coil length of up to 50,000 feet (approximately 15,000 meters), with no butt welds along the entire length; the products can withstand ultra-high hydrostatic pressure tests of up to 100 MPa, far exceeding industry standards. In addition, Siri Tubing is ISO-certified and offers a variety of high-performance plastic coating services, including FEP, PVDF, PA11, and TPV, to meet the demands of extreme corrosive environments in deep-sea and downhole applications.

Single Process Introduction
For 1/8-inch welded capillary tubes, laser welding is a critical step. Stable control of heat input during welding helps achieve more uniform weld bead formation and reduces dimensional fluctuations during subsequent processing. For flowline control projects requiring delivery of long-length coiled tubing, welding consistency directly impacts pressure testing and on-site installation performance. Siri Tubing employs a 100% laser welding process, making it suitable for control line products with high requirements for weld stability, coil length, and batch consistency.

MTSCO Coiled Tubing Final Product Inspection Process
In high-pressure transport applications such as oil and gas, downhole operations, and deep-sea environments, the operational stability of coiled tubing is central to risk management. To this end, MTSCO has established a rigorous final product inspection system to ensure that coiled tubing meets quality standards.
First, the quality team verifies material composition through PMI testing to eliminate the risk of material mix-ups. Second, inspectors conduct rigorous dimensional and visual inspections to ensure the product’s physical specifications fully comply with engineering requirements. Given the continuous-length production process, technicians use Eddy Current Testing (ET) to identify deep-seated defects in the tubing. Subsequently, quality inspectors perform hydrostatic/air tightness tests to verify the product’s pressure integrity under simulated operating conditions. Finally, we test the product in the laboratory to ensure all performance specifications are met.

FAQ
Q1: Do you accept third-party quality inspections?
A1: We fully support third-party inspections designated by our customers, such as SGS, TÜV, and Bureau Veritas. Additionally, we are ISO 9001 certified, ensuring that our quality meets international standards.
Q2: What is the maximum operating pressure of the coiled tubing?
A2: Our welded coiled tubing undergoes standard hydraulic testing at 5,000 PSI and can withstand a maximum test pressure of 15,000 PSI, meeting the requirements of the vast majority of high-pressure applications. Actual operating pressure must be calculated based on specific material, wall thickness, and operating temperature. MTSCO provides professional technical support for selecting the appropriate specifications.
Q3: What is the maximum continuous length available for this welded capillary tube?
A3: Our control line products are available in long-length coils, up to 15,000 meters or 50,000 feet. Continuous lengths help reduce on-site splicing and improve installation efficiency. MTSCO’s in-house manufacturing facilities can accommodate long-length delivery requirements.
