S32750 (2507) Super Duplex Stainless Steel
S32750, also known as 2507, is a super duplex stainless steel. This material combines the microstructural characteristics of both austenitic and ferritic steels. It offers high strength and excellent corrosion resistance. Its yield strength can reach over 500 MPa, which is significantly higher than that of ordinary stainless steel. The pitting resistance equivalent number (PREN) of 2507 is ≥40. Its resistance to chloride-induced stress corrosion is particularly outstanding. 2507 performs exceptionally well in chloride-containing environments and offers good weldability and formability.

Manufacturing Process Flow
The production of welded coiled tubing begins with steel strip. First, incoming inspection of the raw steel strip is conducted to confirm the material is correct; then strip butt welding is performed. The welded strip is cleaned first, then formed into a tube shape, and the tube body is formed through laser welding. Next, the product undergoes sizing, cold drawing, and in-line bright annealing processes. The formed welded coiled tubing also requires in-line eddy current testing as well as hydrostatic or airtight testing to verify weld integrity and pressure sealing performance. Finally, the product undergoes precision winding, marking, final inspection, plastic encapsulation, packaging, and warehousing, with shipment arranged according to customer requirements.

FAQ
Q1: What is the maximum length of encapsulated coiled tubing?
A1: Our welded coiled tubing can reach a maximum length of 50,000 feet (approximately 15 km) per coil. Ultra-long continuous production reduces the number of field splices.
Q2: How long is the delivery cycle usually?
A2: Regular specifications and materials are kept in stock year-round, enabling rapid response to urgent needs. Custom specifications are produced according to schedule. We arrange shipment reasonably based on project milestones to ensure on-time delivery without affecting project progress.
Q3: What typical working conditions are the products suitable for?
A3: Encapsulated control lines are widely used in oil and gas wellhead control, geothermal power plant heat exchanger systems, ship piping instrument connections, and chemical medium transmission. The products are corrosion-resistant and high-pressure-resistant, particularly suitable for harsh environments such as deep sea and underground.
