Duplex Steel S31803/2205 Chemical Injection Line PVDF Encapsulated
Company & Factory Introduction
MTSCO is a professional factory complex in the industrial piping sector, operating four major product divisions. In 2024, MTSCO established its own production base—Siri Tubing—specializing in the manufacturing of chemical injection lines, capillary tubes, multi-core tubing, and cables. The factory strictly follows international ASTM standards and can supply various materials including 304, 316, 2205, 2507, Alloy 625, and Alloy 825. Siri Tubing has obtained ISO certification and has long-term partnerships with international energy companies such as OXY, KOC, and ADNOC. We are not just selling products, we are also your reliable supply chain partner.
Laser Welding Process
Laser welding is a key process that determines the quality of chemical injection lines. MTSCO adopts 100% laser welding process, usinghigh-energy-density laser beams to precisely melt the formed tube. The welded seam has narrow width and small heat-affected zone, effectively avoiding oxidation and embrittlement. Laser welding ensures beautiful weld formation and strong dimensional consistency. During production, laser welding parameters are adjusted in real-time by an automatic control system to ensure stable and reliable quality of every weld seam.

PVDF Encapsulation
PVDF, polyvinylidene fluoride, is a high-performance engineering plastic. It features outstanding chemical resistance, weather resistance, and UV resistance, and does not age easily even after long-term outdoor exposure. PVDF offers high mechanical strength and good toughness, combined with excellent wear resistance and flame retardancy. It is widely used in chemical piping, semiconductor equipment, and the photovoltaic industry. Meto provides PVDF coating solutions that support complex structural molding, meeting the stringent requirements for corrosion resistance and durability across various industries.

S31803/2205 Duplex Stainless Steel
S31803, also known as 2205, is a duplex stainless steel. Its ferritic-austenitic ratio is approximately 50:50. The yield strength of 2507 is approximately twice that of standard austenitic stainless steel. It possesses excellent ductility and toughness. The pitting resistance equivalent, PREN, of 2507 is ≥35. It performs far better than the 304/316 series in chloride-containing environments. This material is widely used in oil and gas transmission pipelines, refining equipment, seawater cooling systems, pressure vessels, chemical corrosion-resistant pipelines, offshore platforms, and industrial equipment requiring high strength.
Eddy Current Testing
MTSCO configures in-line eddy current testing equipment on the production line to perform 100% testing on chemical injection lines after laser welding. Eddy current testing utilizes the principle of electromagnetic induction—when the probe scans the surface of the tube, abnormal electromagnetic signals occur in the weld area, and the system automatically identifies and marks defect locations. Eddy current testing has high efficiency and extremely high sensitivity. This method can detect defects such as surface cracks, pores, and lack of penetration.
Hydraulic / Air Tight Test
Hydrostatic and airtight testing are necessary procedures to verify the pressure sealing performance of chemical injection lines. MTSCO conducts pressure testing on all chemical injection lines, with a standard test pressure of 5,000 PSI and a maximum withstand test pressure of 15,000 PSI. Hydrostatic testing detects deformation and leakage of the tube body and weld seam under high pressure by injecting pressurized water into the tube; airtight testing is used for scenarios with higher sealing requirements and can quickly detect micro-leakage. Both testing methods can be flexibly selected according to customer requirements to ensure products meet the pressure requirements of different working conditions. After testing is complete, all data records and samples are retained and archived.
FAQ
Q1: What quality certifications does the product have?
A1: Siri Tubing has obtained ISO 9001 quality management system certification. All raw materials come from renowned steel mills; the production process is fully traceable; finished products undergo 100% hydrostatic testing and eddy current inspection before shipment.
Q2: Can non-standard size customization be produced?
A2: Yes. We support customization of outer diameter, wall thickness, length, and encapsulation material according to customer requirements. The outer diameter range covers 3.18 mm to 38.1 mm, with wall thickness from 0.4 mm to 2.54 mm.
Q3: What packaging methods do you support?
A3: We offer multiple packaging options including plastic reels, wooden reels, solid wooden reels, iron reels, iron-wood combined reels, and wooden boxes.
